چکیده
The soil sorption coefficient (Kd) of glyphosate mainly controls its transport and fate in the environment. Laboratory-based analysis Kd is laborious expensive. This study aimed to test feasibility visible near-infrared spectroscopy (vis–NIRS) as an alternative method for estimation at a country scale compare accuracy against pedotransfer function (PTF). A total 439 soils with wide range values (37–2409 L kg−1) were collected from Denmark (DK) southwest Greenland (GR). Two modeling scenarios considered predict Kd: combined model developed on DK GR samples individual models either or samples. Partial least squares regression (PLSR) artificial neural network (ANN) techniques applied develop vis–NIRS models. Results best technique validated using prediction set compared PTF each scenario. PTFs built texture, OC, pH, Feox, Pox. ratio performance interquartile distance (RPIQ) was 1.88, 1.70, 1.50 (ANN), validation models, respectively. obtained higher predictive ability than dataset, whereas resulted slightly better estimations However, differences between statistically insignificant. Considering multiple advantages vis–NIRS, e.g., being rapid non-destructive, it can provide faster easier estimating Kd.

Soil analysis using visible and near infrared spectroscopy.
Visible-near infrared diffuse reflectance (vis-NIR) spectroscopy is a fast, nondestructive technique well suited for analyses of some of the essential constituents of the soil. These constituents, mainly clay minerals, organic matter and soil water strongly affect conditions for plant growth and influence plant nutrition. Here we describe the process by which vis-NIR spectroscopy can be used to...

Determination of forage quality of available species is one of the fundamentalfactors for the management of rangelands. Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS)was used to analysis the Nitrogen (N), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), Dry MatterDigestibility (DMD) and Metabolizable Energy (ME) content of three phenological stages(vegetative, flowering and seeding) of Bromus tomentellus samples in ...
متن کاملIn Situ Measurement of Some Soil Properties in Paddy Soil Using Visible and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy
In situ measurements with visible and near-infrared spectroscopy (vis-NIR) provide an efficient way for acquiring soil information of paddy soils in the short time gap between the harvest and following rotation. The aim of this study was to evaluate its feasibility to predict a series of soil properties including organic matter (OM), organic carbon (OC), total nitrogen (TN), available nitrogen ...

This study evaluated the use of visible and near-infrared (VISNIR) spectroscopy to predict lean color stability in pork loin chops. Spectra were collected immediately after and approximately 1 h after rib removal on 1,208 loins. Loins were aged for 14 d before a 2.54-cm chop was placed in simulated retail display. Spectra were collected on aged loins immediately after removal from the vacuum pa...
متن کاملPrediction of Soil Organic Carbon at the European Scale by Visible and Near InfraRed Reflectance Spectroscopy
Soil organic carbon is a key soil property related to soil fertility, aggregate stability and the exchange of CO2 with the atmosphere. Existing soil maps and inventories can rarely be used to monitor the state and evolution in soil organic carbon content due to their poor spatial resolution, lack of consistency and high updating costs. Visible and Near Infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy ...
